About ViolinPractice Pedagogy

ViolinPractice Pedagogy provides videos of detailed demonstrations and explanations of pedagogical principals and offers practice suggestions for sequential skill development and highlights in specific repertoire.

In addition you can see how skills are introduced to students by watching our Lesson Observation videos (embedded in Guided Practice pages and Pedagogy pages when available), and videos of master class excerpts and performances by students at all levels.

ViolinPractice Pedagogy videos are organized as follows:

By Topic: Basic Set Up, Bow Arm, Left Hand, Musical Integration and Scales

By Repertoire:  Listed by composer or use keyword search for title of piece.

Print materials include teacher guides, repertoire lists, practice charts, photos and repertoire practice pages.

Currently there are over 100 videos in ViolinPractice Pedagogy.
